Allotments
From April 2007, the responsibility for allotment provision in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford passed from Milton Keynes Council to the Town Council.
The allotments plots are at Manor Fields (100 plots), Pinewood Drive (2 plots) and Larch Grove (25 plots). There are also allotment plots at Eaton Avenue and Stoke Road and they are managed by allotment associations.
If you are interested in taking over a plot please contact the Town Council as follows:

Orchard Side Allotments
BFSTC runs a number of allotment sites throughout the Parish area. These provide over 200 plots for people from the local area to grow their own produce. As with most Parish Councils we have a long waiting list of people who have applied for an allotment plot. It does become difficult to fulfill our statutory duty to provide allotment plots with such a long waiting list, approx 50 to 60 people on the list.
Because of this BFSTC have been investigating how we can fulfill this need for additional plots.
Directly next door to the Community Orchard and behind the Rugby and Irish Clubs is a large piece of waste ground that belongs to the Town Council. Many years ago this too was the site of an allotment. For one reason or another it fell into disuse and was forgotten about. BFSTC have now decided to develop this land into an exciting new allotment site. Funding has been secured and work has already begun by our contractors TR Squib 'Treeworks Ltd'. They have started clearing the land, building Hawthorne hedging and marking out the plots/ridings etc. The site will be ready for use in the coming months, there will be 70 plots at this site, all of which are the same size shape and dimensions (13m x 5m).
In recent years the Town Council had converted a disused allotment site into a Community Orchard adjacent to Manor Fields Rugby Club in Fenny Stratford. This site is well visited by local people and is a favourite venue for dog walkers as they can safely let their pets off of their leads in an enclosed piece of land. There are now some interesting pieces of artwork sited in the Community Orchard for people to see in amongst the apple and cherry trees.
